News in Brief...
On the 18th June we said an emotional farewell to Dr Kasonde who has been a very valued member of staff for the last 6 years, and was well liked by many of her patients. During a buffett lunch she was presented with gifts and flowers after which she gave a short but emotional speech. We wished her well and I am sure you will all join us in thanking her for her hard work, committment and caring.
We also say a fond farewell to our two registrars, Dr’s Bhatti & Singh, who leave in early August to go to their next practice. However, they will be joining us throughout August and September to do some Locum surgeries. Dr Bhatti will then be leaving us to take up his new post as a GP in Australia later this year.
We give a very warm welcome to Dr Anisa Malik, who will be joining us as a new GP partner. She will be working on a Tuesday only through August and September and taking up her post fully in October.
Willowbrook Building Extension Update…
External works are now completed on the new rooms. Internal fixtures and fittings are being put in place and after final inspections we will be moving in the new occupants. Thanks for your patience whilst the works are completed.
