The following groups are being given the vaccine: 

- Children aged 6 months - 4 yrs 11 months & persons in the at risk groups: 
- All pregnant women     
-Chronic heart disease
-Chronic respiratory disease
-Chronic renal disease
-Chronic liver disease
-Chronic kidney disease 
-Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- Diabetes     
- Immunosuppresed
- Asthma
- Stroke and TIA's
- Multiple Sclerosis

We are inviting patients by letter who fall into these categories to come to a vaccination clinic.  If you wish to decline the invitation, please let us know so we can add this to your record.

The health care assistant undertakes blood tests, uncomplicated dressings, blood pressure measurements and ECG testing.

Phlebotomists

The phlebotomist sees patients by appointment to undertake blood tests. The local Primary Care Trust also employs district nurses, health visitors etc who work from within the medical practice.
